3-inch Ratchet Strap Short End with Wire Hooks is used to secure cargo on the back of flatbed trailers using rub rails that are installed along the sides of the trailer. Wire Hooks are one of the preferred Tie Down Hardware as they are able to quickly snap into place to create a securement point for your cargo securement.

3-inch Straps are too heavy-duty for pickup truck bed and pickup trailers for this strap as the ratchet alone weighs over 7 lbs and is overkill for these applications. You will want to purchase a 1 inch or 2-inch Ratchet Strap for any light or medium-duty pickup truck applications.
